What I would like you to understand, right off the bat, is. Unless you are absolutely, positively one hundred percent sure, that your dog is fine with your children. Never, ever, ever leave your child, unattended with a dog.
Even if you have the best dog in the world, it’s still not a good idea to leave them alone together, even for a second. There are not, a whole lot of dogs, that are totally at ease with kids. The best dogs can still accidentally hurt a child, by stepping on them or knocking them over.
And please don’t get angry. But I don’t trust your ability to properly evaluate , whether or not your dog would be fine, with your child yanking on his ears.
Here’s the stats, 4.5 million dog bites a year. 70% are children
So , please be very careful.
